Guava leaves are similar to Indian Almond leaves. They break down slow in the water and cause biofilm to grow. They will also release tannins into the water column which will help fight off bacterial infections. Guava lease are known to prevent Bacteria Vibrio which is a known cause of many shrimp and fish diseases.
Can be added directly the aquarium or to soften and sink more quickly they can be boiled for 5 minutes.
