Marcot/ Air layered plant with very strong root system.

'A Sangue' is an ancient fig variety from Brindisi region of Italy.
'Sangue' means blood, the blood red pulp of this fantastic fig gives its name 'A Sangue'.
'A Sangue' is an intense berry fig with thick syrupy pulp.
This plant is an air layer plant, Please see the photo of air layering from the mother tree.
'A Sangue' fig is not a common fig.
Needs fig wasp for pollination.
Pick up from Cherrybrook, NSW 2126.

- Port Jackson Fig BonsaiMy last large tree. Tree stands 1.5 metres tall from soil level. Trunk width is approximately 20cm-22cm. Plenty of aerial roots have been thrown over the years and many have become part of the trunk.
