Priscilla Queen of the Desert - Leyland Bus Motorhome
$80,000 Negotiable
Seller's Description
Our beloved Priscilla "Queen of the Desert" is in search of a new home. This amazing piece of Australian Performing Arts history is in need of a new family to love and look after her. Our Priscilla was used in a tour to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Musical show which began performances on 21 January 2018 at the Regent Theatre in Melbourne.
Priscilla was owned by John Parkinson in Bruthen. He bought it from the production company "Priscilla On Stage Pty Ltd" who used it to promote the stage production. He converted it to a mobile home and spent may years touring around in it. My wife and I met him when he spotted Charlotte our converted double decker bus. A year after we met we contacted John to see if he was willing to sell her and now we are the owners. We have had her roadworthied in both VIC and NSW as we brought her to Culburra Beach NSW where we registered her. She is beautiful and has the photographs from when she was on tour with the drag queens along with the promotion signs and brochures from the stage show.
We will be listing her on several sites hoping to find the right future owners to keep her in the manner she has become accustom to 🙂

The outside has been repainted about 30 years ago in the original colour, it still looks good but does have some marks from use. The interior is all original, even the original Westfalia curtains from 1966. Mechanically the van has been updated with front d$100,000Nowra, NSW•118w - Toyota Hiace Regius
