This is a very rare offering, the 1971 Norm Beechey 350 C.I. HT Super Holden Monaro. This car was labeled (by Norm himself) "Trans Aus" – the Aussie version of the "Trans Am".

This model depicts the car as it was presented for the 1971 Touring Car Championship season. After clinching the 1970 Touring Car championship the car presented with the prestigious number 1.
The car also fronted with some mechanical innovations which included massive front air scoops that feed both the engine and the front brakes.
The Car was up against major competition from Moffat, Jane and Co and suffered from reliability issues. It finished 5th overall in the championship that year.
Despite its lap luster performances this car is a true Aussie racing Icon.

This 1:43 scale model captures what was arguably the most stunning improved production HT Monaro to ever grace Australian race tracks.
Norm was one of the most flamboyant drivers of his era. This model is produced by Australian Model Replicas and is the third in the series of models produced of the famous Yellow Beechey Monaro.
You would be paying 3 times this amount for the 1:18 scale size of this model and this is a great alternative.
