This Cypress Coffee Table is the second of three tables made from a seasoned Cypress tree by Workshop 87. This table stands 40cm tall and is more than 55cm long. It has a flat top that divides into a number of 'legs' that were originally smaller trunks that diverged from the bigger base. The table is a solid (and heavy) segment of tree trunk from a flooded gum that was felled in the Swn Valley more than a decade ago. This segment of a Australian native Honey Myrtle tree trunk has been turned into a lovely natural coffee table by Workshop87. The Honey Myrtle was felled in Perth's Swan Plateau more than 5 years ago, and after being segmented by the tree lopped, was seasoned outside for 5 years by Workshop87. From there, we used a Jack handsaw to cut the base level and then cut the top parrallel.
