Dendrobium capitisyork Native Orchid plant.
You will recieve the orchid plant that is pictured.
Orchid is self attached to tree fern mount.
This Native Orchid is most commonly known as Dendrobium tetragonum var. giganteum. It more recently has been recognised as Dendrobium capitisyork.
It is also commonly referred to as The Rectangular-Bulbed Dendrobium, The Blotched Tree Spider Orchid, and The Banded Tree Spider Orchid.
D. capitisyork is found in New South Wales and northern Queensland as a cool to warm growing, small to medium sized, epiphytic species occupying humid ravines or gullies at altitudes of 500 to 1200 meters.
Flowers are fragrant.
