PURE BRED CHICKS, CHICKENS, FERTILE EGGS & MUSCOVIES

Welcome to our little ad from our family farm; where we sell fertile Araucana, Belgian D'uccles, Ancona, Silkie, White Brahma, Polish and Bantam eggs and also hatched chicks (unsexed) and chickens close to point of lay (we can attempt to identify genders but no guarantees)
We have a variety of colours available and all chicks are hand raised and fed quality food
Please note: POL means a hen that is at 22 weeks and can lay eggs now. NA means not available.
**LIMITED AVAILABILITY ** due to hens currently having a rest from laying. This allows their bodies to recharge after a busy time of producing and raising their young. We expect our girls to start back toward Spring.
POLISH also known as POLAND chickens are from Europe and are so inquisitive. They are a joy to have on the farm with their little Polish pompom hats and pretty colours. we love their unique sound. Good layers of eggs. We have a frizzle Polish rooster some sometimes he will have frizzled offspring.
2 Polish under 12 weeks available.
Possibly hens. $30 each
Golden Laced and Buff Laced (not frizzle)
ARAUCANAS have a terrific personality, lay blue/green eggs and are a medium sized chicken.
Chicks over 8 weeks old $30 each - available
Our MUSCOVIES are terrific mothers and layers. We find they are terrific in our orchards, foraging and they (like geese) can scare away snakes. They are terrific around our chickens and have great personalities. If your looking for a meat bird the males mature double the size of the females.
Drakes ready to father $35 each - available
On occasion we have other poultry available so please ask.
Our eggs have a very high fertility rate; if you have a quality incubator or a reliable clucky hen you will be blessed with a bounty of little chicks.
Our chicks range in ages and will require specific care (eg heat pad/lamp inside your home for young day olds - 5 weeks)
We sell all our chicks unsexed as it's difficult to be sure of their gender.
If for some reason you choose a chick who grows into a rooster we are happy to have you bring him back to live out his days here at no extra charge. However, having your own rooster (if council permits) will protect your hens and give you the option of having your own fertile eggs in the future.
