Wanted: Grungy Guitarist, Songwriter to jam with.
Lookin for a rhythm guitarist to play with for fun, jamming and songwriting. And occasional gig. Basically, grungy pop and dream pop stuff. Aiming to write/play once a week. Have a bass player.
Newcastle Area.
Happy to meet up & chat first. Have heaps of recorded originals that we can use.
If you've had a mispent youth listening to: Velvet Underground, Mazzy Star, Courtney Barnett, Jane's Addiction, Violent Femmes, Nirvana, Patti Smith, Seabellies, Iggy Pop, Mr Louis Reed, Rowland Howard,Mild Times....to name just a few-maybe you want to continue that misspent journey and play music.
No pub rock( NO Screaming Jets, No Barnsey, Or anything like that).
I only want to do grungy pop stuff. I like hearing new stuff too & not being stuck.My originals are a mix of grunge and dream pop.
