Very rare copy of the December 1975 Christmas issue of British Vogue with a beautiful David Bailey cover photo of his then wife the model Marie Helvin in Zandra Rhodes crimson pleated satin and chiffon worn with diamond and aquamarine jewellery. Marie also features inside in a fanciful 'Send in the Clowns' spread with dreamy soft focus Bailey photos of her and Linda Dagne in gorgeous 70s designer fashion including Gina Fratini, Bill Gibb, Christian Dior, Zandra Rhodes, Karl Lagerfeld for Chloe and Thea Porter, all accessorised with clown characters.
Other fashion spreads have Jane Goddard in Oliviero Toscani photos against backgrounds of blown up stills from the big disaster movies of 1975 including Jaws, Esther De Deo in Mathematical Chic furs with Barry Lategan photos and Carole Singleton in More Dash Than Cash with photos by Fabrizio Ferri.
The Beauty pages have an early photo of Iman by Peter Beard who had 'discovered' her that year in Kenya, Travel picks islands for Christmas visits, there are useful gift ideas and seasonal food recipes. Other features include 1975 in reviews and 'Who Wore What Where', My Day by author Laurie Lee, a coronation in Kathmandu, the British royals during the year and a very of its time feature and photos by Roloff Beny 'In the Land of the Peacock Throne' with the Shah of Iran and his family.

It has scattered light brown spots on the front cover which are more visible when it is held at an angle to the light, the spine paper is stained and torn, a few inside pages have stains and there is age related paper edge browning on some pages.
