Lidded Sugar Jam Pot & Covered Butter Cheese Dish
$70
SHIPPING OFFERED
Dating from around the 1940s, an enchantingly pretty sugar jam pot, and a covered butter or cheese dish, made in England by Crown Ducal.
Shaped with lovely curves , these pieces are decorated with delicate pink roses, both with elegant handles and scalloped edges that are richly gilded.
These belonged to my grandmother, and have spent most of their lives in storage (very seldom, if ever used).
They remain in lovely undamaged condition, no chips or cracks, with only some very fine clean crazing that is very normal/typical for this kind of vintage tableware.
The sugar pot stands approx. 11cm in height (including knob on lid).
The covered butter dish stands approx. 10cm in height (including handle), with the under plate measuring approx. 19cm by 14cm.
Sold together as one lot, Will not separate.
