Pittosporum multiflorum - Orange Thorn - Niche Native
$10
An under-appreciated local native species.
These little guys have very fine foliage and tiny spines.
They work well as an indoor pot plant - perfect for topiary.
Even better outdoors they eventually become great habitat for small birds/creatures. In time producing bird attracting small orange berries.
I recommend planting more than one and experimenting with shaping through pruning to build a dense canopy.
