Genuine Furs, Including a Cornelius fur:

Genuine Furs, including a Cornelius Fur:
I have 4 garments of genuine fur for sale. I will be repeating this ad over an extra ad so that I can include the maximum number of photos.
The first gorgeous stole was made by W. H. Bell & Sons in Toronto, Canada. My aunt brought it back to Australia after having lived there for some years in the middle of last century. The golden coloured satin lining is embroidered with small flowers & it is in quite good condition, as is the actual fur. The two pieces that come down over the shoulders from the front, have hand-sized curved pockets near the bottom that are also lined with the same satin. Inside, on either side there are 40cm strips of the same satin. The brownish colours are very pretty & it is in excellent condition, but there are a few small gaps around the edges where the fur & the lining need to be hand-stitched back together. This would not be a big job at all. It also has a satin-lined pocket on the inside on the right,
When laid out open, it measures 165cm from edge to edge & it when on, it measures 47cm from the centre back of the neck to the back edge. It is in cream-to-medium-brown shades.
$300
Secondly, is Genuine Fur collar, in excellent condition. I have been led to believe that it is Blue Fox Fur, but I could be confused with one of the others which I am advertising. It is also lined with a beige satin & has the strips sewn in on either side of the front like the previous garment above. It has a hook & loop front attachment.
When laid out open, it measures 135cm from edge to edge & it measures 23cm wide from the top edge in the centre back to the hem at the centre back. This fur collar has no labels attached but is in lighter brown variegations than the previous stole. The ends at the front are finished like little fox feet.
I believe my aunt acquired this one at around the same time as the previous one.
$150
Next is a Genuine Cornelius fur from Sydney. I’m not sure if is classed as a stole or an opera coat. It is a quite a dark brown & I believe it might be mink. It has a hook & loop front attachment & there is an inside pocket sewn into the left front breast of the stole. On the outside, there are hand pockets on each side of the front pieces.
It measures 49cm from the centre back of the collar to the centre back of hem & 70cm from the centre back around to the edges of the arm pieces. Although the fur is in good condition, I have noticed that where some of the strips of fur have been placed with a slight overlap of the next piece, there are a couple of spots where I think it might need a few hand stitches or something to keep them together. It would be very easy to stitch.
$350
Lastly, I have a very warm, soft & luxurious, ‘Stephen Dattner’ rabbit skin fur coat. It also has a luxurious satin lining & can be worn with the collar up around the neck, or down.
The coat has full length sleeves & measures 59cm from the top of the shoulder to the edge of the sleeve. It measures 44cm from under the sleeve seem to the sleeves edge & 100cm around the underarm/chest measurement with the 2 hooks & loops done up. The total length of this beautiful coat is 90cm from the top of the back centre of the collar to the back, centre of the bottom edge.
There are 2 generous pockets on the front of the coat, about hip height, but they aren’t obvious as the clean, clear lines of colour going from cream to a darker, golden brown. The photos for this are in a separate ad, under ‘Stephen Dattner’ Rabbit skin fur coat.
$500
Since I inherited these furs & am no expert, hopefully anyone interested knows more about the actual origin of them.
