NOT SURE WHAT ENGINE THIS COMES FROM BUT (POSSIBLY 1920's MORRIS BUT WOULD NEED CHECKING) IT BOLTS DIRECTLY ONTO ENGINE. HANDLE TURNS FREELY IN THE ALUMINIUM HOUSING AND CAN BE PUSHED IN-OUT TO ENGAGE THE ENGINE THIS UNIT IS IN GOOD CONDITION AND QUITE RARE TO FIND ONE THAT HASN'T GOT ANY CORROSION.

AUTOLITE TYPE GT. #400. NO GUARANTEE BUT TESTED OK ABOUT 12 YEARS AGO AND STORED IN SHED. I BELIEVE THAT IT WAS CARRIED AS A SPARE FOR A 1923 MAXWELL OWNED BY AN AUTO-ELECTRICIAN. ARMATURE TURNS FREELY. MANY 1920's USA CARS USED THESE UNITS.

I believe that this is a late 1960s/early 70's Rover light assembly. You'll need to confirm. Some minor small pitting on the chrome but you'd have to look closely to see it. On the amber lens> L779. SAE.STD 62 L673 ENGLAND. LUCAS On the red lens> L779 ENGLAND BS 2518 GRADE 1. LUCAS On the clear lens> L779 ENGLAND SAE R 65. LUCAS Similar units on eBay are $140 Pickup prefered. 2 Ford Generators. Probably 1930s. Both were tested OK about 10 years ago and have been stored in shed since then, I can't guarantee them but they both spin freely so bearings are OK. One has a broken pulley but otherwise OK. It has 'Ford R3' stamped on casing but I can't find any other markings on either of them.
