Antique Edwardian era grandfather chair, carving casters red velvet
For sale is this lovely antique Edwardian era grandfather chair or armchair with carving, original ceramic casters, and velvet upholstery. I got this in original condition from an antique shop in Braidwood NSW, and was told it came from a local country house. The original leather upholstery had been damaged beyond repair, so I had it professionally reupholstered and covered in a quality cherry red velvet about 10 years ago, but left the the timber untouched to retain the patina.
