This ES 339 has been owned by me since new and virtually unused. It was built by Gibson’s Custom Shop at its Memphis facility in May 2010, just prior to the Tennessee floods which affected Gibson's timber stocks. With its "small hollow body" concept, the sound is close to an ES-335. The guitar is in excellent original condition with no changes, repairs or modifications (read "NEW' ), save for minor tarnishing of the metal parts commensurate with its age. I bought this to replace the panel on my JTM that had a master volume mod on the front panel – but ended up selling the amp to fund (another) guitar. The Axcess Les Paul features a contoured neck heel that give much better access to the top frets of the guitar. Weighing in at 3.58 kgs, or 7.88 lbs, this light weight Les Paul has a belly cut on the body, and a really nice C shape neck carve, very similar to a ’59 carve.
