Motor Manual April 1956 #146
MOTOR MANUAL magazine was an Australian Automotive Magazine originally published in April 1946 and later became known as Car Automotive from March 1986. The magazine was headquartered in Melbourne and distributed in both Australia and New Zealand.
Motor Manual has had a number of editors and publishers over the decades, amongst them; in the early 60’s, editor and publisher Keith Winser, the late 60’s, editor L. J. Shaw, publisher The Age Melbourne Magazine department, the 70’s, editor John Mellor, publisher Age Publications and in the 80’s, editor Paul Harrington, publisher Newspress. Motor Manual focused broadly on every aspect of modern car culture coupled with a taste of motor sport, history and technical aspects of the genre.
For sale is an April 1956 edition of Motor Manual Magazine featuring the Jaguar XK140 Fixed Head Coupe and the International truck Range for 1956, along with an interesting in depth article on The Story of Oil. The condition I would describe as 7/10, front and rear covers missing otherwise reasonable condition for its age of 67 years. This magazine has some excellent articles for Holden, Ford, Jaguar, International and Sunbeam-Talbot enthusiasts making it a worthwhile addition to your collection of motoring memorabilia.

• Jaguar XK140 Fixed Head Coupe
