Chapter 2. the Naracoopa was registered as an Auxiliary Motor Vessel. AMV. All ships who could possibly do so laid claim to being auxiliary, because it meant a cheaper registration fee. They bought their sails secondhand.
Naracoopa engine broken down and vessel drifting off the east coast of Tasmania.
