The Operations Manager at Whitebream Australia will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of operational activities, with a focus on optimizing service delivery, maintaining compliance with NDIS standards, and fostering a positive work environment. Based in Parramatta, this position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a dynamic team and contribute to the organization's mission of providing exceptional support to individuals with disabilities. Key Responsibilities: • Operational Leadership: Lead and oversee the day-to-day operational activities of Whitebream Australia, including service provision, staff management, resource allocation, and budget oversight. • NDIS Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to NDIS guidelines, policies, and standards in all aspects of service delivery, documentation, and reporting. • Team Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to operational staff, including recruitment, training, performance management, and professional development initiatives. • Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to assess service effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and maintain high standards of care and client satisfaction. • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, families, caregivers, funding bodies, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and service enhancement. • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans, operational policies, and performance metrics aligned with organizational goals and NDIS requirements. • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks, including health and safety, financial, and regulatory risks, to ensure the protection of organizational assets and reputation. • Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency enhancement across all operational functions, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability within the team. • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit regular reports, analyses, and documentation on operational performance, key metrics, compliance status, and strategic initiatives to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare management, social sciences, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. • Minimum of 2-3 years of progressive experience in operations management, preferably within the disability support services sector or a related field. • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS framework, policies, regulations, and quality standards. • Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving operational excellence. • Strong understanding of budgeting, resource management, and strategic planning processes. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills. • Sound analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities. • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and other relevant operational software applications.
