Caravan with workshop
$70,000 Negotiable
Full electric self built 22ft caravan with workshop area.
We were going to redesign the backend of this van and turn the workshop area into a lounge / office setup, but we’ve decided to approach our situation differently.
We built this during the covid lockdown to support us working while on the road. The back section of van is setup as a workshop & for carrying parts & tools. It has over 40,000kms under its belt, handled a few wild storms, all without issues. Tows well & built tough!

The caravans electrical system can power everything off grid, including A/C system, microwave, air fryer etc. Solar can generate up to 85amp/hr just from the roof alone, with the option to plug in additional external blankets into a dedicated MPPT controller.
The 2x battery chargers have been configured to either charge the vans batteries together at a total combined 80amp/hr or the second charger can be used to automatically charge the connected tow vehicle when the van sees mains power. Combining chargers is useful if you need to run a generator for a quick top up.
* Has an 'isolated from the inside' compartment where you can keep chairs, chainsaw, a generator & know that the fumes wont enter inside van
* Recovery points & a hitch at rear (we keep a vice in it)
* Mains water inlet with switchable fill points (no holding hose into a filler)
* Electronic tank switching (no getting under van turning taps on and off when you run out of water)
* 2x Sirocco fans
* 4.5m Aussie Travellers awning
* Slide out from toolbox (used for webber bbq)
* Starlink mount on roof plus a point to plug cable into
* External satellite phone antenna (for iridium sat phone)
* 2x TVs that can be linked together or used independently
* Outside TV point
* External antenna input
* A common TV tuner / recorder
* 12v powered media centre (plug in a HDD to broadcast across either or both TVs)
* Apple TV / chrome-cast & HDMI input for laptops & phones
* Electronic controlled roof exhaust fan with weather shield (can be used when raining) - great at drawing in cool air at night when a window is open, cooking on the induction hot plate & also used to extract fumes when working in back of van (soldering, TIG welding, etc).
Too much to list. Theres a lot of nifty tricks to this van. Its setup to handle being in remote locations & would suit a handyman person / couple wanting to travel with tools, equipment etc.
Van is currently insured for $70K. We're open to your thoughts / offers. Happy to have a chat about any enquiries.
