RARE pair of 1950s bookends featuring the bust of Albert Namatjira. The busts appear to be made of clay and the stands are made from Mulga wood. Each one has Albert Namatjira's name in gold lettering on the stand and there are the remnants of a stamp on the base of one which is unreadable, but we have been advised that it is 'The outline of Australia with a Boomerang underneath which carries in it the text Mulga Wood'. VHTF Royal Mint silver plated 'Garretts Bijou Gold Changer' money box. In very good pre-owned condition, complete with the original box. Missing the sticker from the back, which has left a mark and there is a couple of marks on the bottom as per the photos. Box shows some minor signs of wear, but there are no rips or tears. Measures 152 H x 135 W x 60mm D (15.2 x 13.5 x 6cm). Postage to anywhere in Australia is $16.50.
