Vintage Pack of 57 Hors D'Oeuvres Party Picks - No Lid
$25
Postage is extra. Cash if picking up locally in Canberra. This type of hard plastic party pick was prevalent during the late 1950s to the early 1970s for spearing hors d'oeuvres (or "horses doovers" as my father used to say), cheese, sliced fruit, small prawns and cocktail frankfurts (or again, as my father would say "little boys") at family gatherings and dinner parties. These were made in Hong Kong. The picks are approximately 88mm long. Unfortunately this container does not have a lid and only has 57 picks instead of the full complement of 60. It says that they are " sanitary reusable plastic picks".

- 5 Vintage Small Silverplated Meat Serving ForksCollection of 5 vintage/perhaps antique meat server forks. Most are silverplated although the silver has worn off the oldest 5-pronged one. That one was made by Mappin and Webb, silversmiths based in both London and Sheffield between about 1880 and 1920. Unfortunately, it has a crack in the faux bone-handle on one side too. The longest one with the pinkish faux bone-handle is about 175mm long and the shortest (all metal) is 140mm long. Postage is not included in price. - Old Trident 3-Pronged Bone-Handled & Silverplated Bread Server ForkVintage faux bone-handled and silverplated trident style bread server fork. Note the stylish way the tines were designed and the carved end of the faux bone-handle. There are no marks to indicate where or by whom it was made but I would suggest it was made in England. It is in good condition and is about 216mm long. Postage is not included in price. Pickup in Canberra for cash.$25SHIPPING OFFEREDLyons, ACT•49w
