Antique Victorian Thomas Bevington British Art Pottery Vase
$125
SHIPPING OFFERED
Bevington was a prolific family of potters in Hanley, Staffordshire. Thomas Bevington started his business in Burton Street around 1870 and continued there until 1891 when he was succeeded by Ambrose Bevington.
The company specialized in 'raised flower goods' - baskets, vases and table decorations in china.
On offer is an exquisite flower basket dating back over 100 years to the late 1800s.
It is approximately 15 cm high and around 25 cm width. It has apple blossoms on one side and another type of flower on the other which I can’t quite identify.
The condition is excellent for its age, with just some colouration as pictured within the vase and a tiny chip on one of the leaves. No signs of crazing.
Please add $25 for shipping throughout Australia. Otherwise pick up is in South Yarra.
Cheers
