The foliage of Canna indica Purpurea is a magnificent combination of purple shades blended with black. This plant fowers 9 months of the year - from early Spring through to late Autumn - with blooms in rich scarlet-orange. When planted alongside other Canna's the effect is astonishing.
All plants are bare rooted and at $8 each is a cheap plant to have in your collection.
Plant Size
The plant is a fast grower and in the ground grows to 4-feet tall in the first year, grows up to 6-feet tall in subsequent years.
Growth Habit
Rhizomes bud and produce tall stalks that unfurl new leaf growth. A mass of flower buds develop a top mature stalks, blooming in succession
