Lead gardener

A typical day will involve meeting at the business, driving to different sites in a work vehicle with trailer, and performing the required duties. We service a wide range of clients including private residential, body corporate, and commercial.

Hours of work start between 8-9am (depending on the team) and finish 8 hours later.

Skills and Experience:

Qualified in Horticulture or have a good knowledge of the horticulture trade, including plant and weed identification.

Hold a current drivers licence

Able to work independently, as a team leader or as part of a team.

Teaching and passing on knowledge to other staff

Complete all aspects of garden maintenance at a high quality as well managing a team.

Monitor the health of gardens and have an approach that progressively improves the standard of the gardens we tend to.

Good time management skills.

Have experience in all aspects of garden maintenance including:

- Hedging and topiary

- Pruning

- Weeding

- Pest and disease control (not essential)

- Irrigation settings (can learn on the job)

- Plant health etc

You will be working with all of our team members at a variety of jobs.

Have excellent communication skills.

A strong attention to detail and have a great work ethic.

Reliable, punctual and hard working.
