Belt Buckle Vintage Pearl Harbour December 7, 50th Anniversary******1991
Downsizing my private belt and buckle collection and offering for sale this very collectable, rare Vintage 3D Pewter Pearl Harbour 50th Anniversary******1991 belt buckle.
The buckle shows a battleship and front section of the US Arizona both of which are on fire after being bombed. There are also two enemy war planes in the sky.
Buckle was made in 1991 in the USA by Arroya Grande Buckle Company. Model number AG73
On the buckle back it reads:
“In 1941, The U.S.S. Arizona had served for 25 years as the queen of the Pacific fleet. Two other dreadnaughts before her had borne the name "Arizona", but none as proudly. She measured 608 feet with a 97 foot beam. Her total weight was 31400 tons, and her mean draft was 29 feet.
On December 7th of that year, the Arizona began her last voyage into history.”
Buckle is in as-new excellent condition.
SIZE 8.2cm x 5.5cm to fit belt up to 3.8cm wide
Buckle comes in a storage Buckle Tin. Please note: due to age, the Tin might show some tarnish speckles (will not affect buckle).
In the various images, I have tried to capture all the detail and patina of this interesting and very collectable buckle.
