6L80e, 6L90e transmission harness shift controller

The 9th and 10th photos are of my latest achievement and thats a Nissan TI 45 tiptronic shifter coupled to our new Shift Commander that features Sports mode as well to enter and exit Manual mode, the same way the VE SS does.
I make brand new wiring harnesses to suit the 6L80e/6l90e from VE Commodore onwards including the engine harness to suit LS2, LS3, AND LSA
The 6L80e trans can only be operated by an engine running the e38 ecm computer and by the LSA ecm which are rare.
This ad is an overflow from my engine harness ads, specifically for more information on how and whats required to make the Tiptronic TUTD work and function properly in conversions into other makes of vehicles
There are several options and different ways to run Tiptronic side of this marvellous transmission
First option, No TUTD...... that's right... many owners... mostly sheila's...of Tiptronic vehicles dont even know how to use this feature..... and consequently this never gets used, and its also the cheapest option, and also means you can run any type of auto shifter including column shift
The 6L80e is a close ratio box and is nearly always in the correct gear and downshifts relatively early offering excellent decel braking
Second option, if you like to skid, race or 4WD and have a need to hold the auto in particular gears then you need the TUTD and this option uses the factory Body Control Module and the factory auto shifter
This can be wired in so that it all works just like the Commodore it came out of..... however it is essential that all these parts came from the same car, or at least the model and year, because there are differences with BCM's and shifters... some have Sports mode buttons..... some dont.... and cant be mismatched.
Third option is to run the American system without the BCM. This means hardwiring an extra wire to the tranny and then using American software operating systems such as Corvette to tune the whole setup with. It can be done but there are so many differences its not really practical.
Fourth option and very exciting for me is, we have developed a new module that basically replaces the BCM and talks direct via CanBus to the ecu's and can use any shifter including column shift.
This is fantastic for older vehicles where you want to retain the original shifter. The TUTD is operated by 2 momentary switches or a single momentary rocker switch and connected by 3 wires.
On top of this the module has a video out plug running to a supplied 4.3 inch video screen which displays which gear it is in and also other vital data including rpm, engine temp, intake air temp, transmission temp and oil pressure. This does not have to be used if not wanted.....
Alternatively it can be plugged into any reverse cam screen or head unit screen
