As with my other listing of forks , these are likewise new , but being from the 80's and just in storage I decided to give them a gentle clean to show their true quality . Very practical utensil with a touch of luxury in relaxed dining . I have retained its original box as well -although it is a bit tattered . This was top of the range silverplate made by Rodd .

There are 8 knives . Price is for the lot. This original design is less tapered than the current styling . These knives were very hard to obtain 20 years ago. New / old stock and still in original sleeves - monoblock / solid handle . A set of 12 matching dessert knives will be listed shortly This listing is for the larger knife.

Price listed is for each piece. These are new/old stock - not sure that the silverplated version is made any more . The pieces are from the 90's and the plating was deemed 'lifetime plate' . Hollow handled knives are more expensive to produce but more comfortable in the hand - only the handle on the knife is silverplated - the blade is stainless and also serrated . Classic elegant design that will complement other patterns if you are looking for some spare knives or to add to your set . P

Exquisite all over Repousse and pierced decoration depicting village scenes framed by a scrolled leaf and flower pattern that is carried down both the handles and incorporates the hinge . I cannot find any hallmarks but the workmanship and design do a lot of talking . This piece is very typical of pre war Dutch silverware that at the very least is very thick silverplate . Length is 19.5 cms .

Classic design (new/old stock) Balmoral is made of a nicely guaged 18/10 fluted, mirror finish stainless steel . The design is very practical as the fluting does not show up scratches over time as the plain finish does and stays looking good longer. 'Balmoral' is a discontinued pattern but is a very good complement to the Sant Andrea 'Viotti' design . 1 sold - this is the last set .

This range from Stanley Rogers carried a lifetime guarentee. New/old stock manufactured and plated in England and matches the other items I have listed . The back is decorated almost as good as the front - true quality. I have tried to photgraph the markings but proving difficult for clarity. This design complements the 'KINGS' pattern

Classic European styling with a mirror finish to the 18/10 stainless steel . The set is 6piece ,new /old stock . They have been made with a hollow handle that is beautifully balanced compared to solid handled ones and is more ergonomic . Hollow handles require more processes to produce and have always been dearer as a result - these initially retailed for over $150 . Nicely boxed.

Black single layer cutlery canteen is in very good condition . Internal compartment is finished with bottle green flock lining. The canteen holds a setting of cutlery for 8 persons .

Still in original box . New old stock. Grosvenor brand 18 / 8 stainless steel and marked as such on each piece. Ideal size for a variety of dishes . Plain mirror finish - 17 cm length . Packaging is a bit tattered but the splayds are as new / unused.
