This item is a used original air cleaner to suit the two barrel carbs used on 253/4.2L Holden V8s. This is the early pre-pollution style as used on the HT, HG and early HQ models. I believe that it is from a HQ as the snorkel points towards the drivers front corner when mounted on the carb. Last photo shows a similar filter when fitted to a HQ 253.
