This is a beautiful wood veneer trinket box with mother of pearl inlay made in England c1900. The dimensions are 17 x 12 x 8 cms. The locking mechanism appears complete but there is no key. The box could be used to store any small personal possessions but currently houses a selection of vintage sewing items ( included). A standout item is the 1920s Kirby Beard & co sewing needle set which is made of leather and has a working metal clasp. Sorry I do not post so local pick up only from Currambine

This is a lovely small sewing or trinket box with ornate top and various vintage sewing items included , along with a beautiful old cardboard box originally containing Dubarry’sbath cubes. The box dimensions are 17 x 12 x7 cms. There is no key but the box is sturdy. Overall there is some wear to the box and some of the sewing items as you’d expect from a vintage used item but it presents well and is practical to use for sewing, jewellery or other items. Not sure what this really is. Would be an ideal sewing box. Timber unit with 5 drawers and 2 storage spaces on side maybe for patterns or magazines. Has wheels on base for mobility which can be removed if required to sit on a bench or desktop. Overall sizes are475mmH x 430mmW x 330mmD. Plenty of storage and a nice piece of furniture whatever you want it for.
