Dwarf Banana - Red Dacca Musa Acuminata 90cm high in a 4L pot A Dwarf size red skinned variety which should have a deep maroon-red skin when ripe. Growing to 2.5m. Great eaten fresh when ripe or baked, fried, or toasted when still green. Red bananas have more beta carotene and vitamin C than yellow ones. This variety is showing some promise growing in cooler urban areas, like Sydney.
