Casual Disability Support Worker
Seeking a Casual Disability Support Worker to assist a male with a disability in Fitzroy
This role is to assist a person with a disability to live independently in their home and in the community. This position is to assist in covering shifts while several support workers are on holidays. It could then extend to some regular shift. There are some morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts. Duration of shifts vary from 2 - 6 hours
Duties would include assisting with personal care, community access, activities such as swimming, shopping, and domestic tasks.
The desired applicant needs to be healthy, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy..
No previous experience is necessary, but respecting others, and having a good sense of humour is.
Holding a current driver's licence is preferred, but not essential. Please advise if you have a current police check, or have no issue in obtaining. one.
It is a great opportunity to meet some new people. This role would be great for a university student, someone seeking a career change, or for someone wanting to pick up some extra hours work.
