I’m thinking of rehoming my 2 miniature horses. Mare approximately 16years old and my 2 year old wry nose colt. This is a hard decision as my girl has been with me for 7 years. She is extremely calm well handled mare not a nasty bone in her. But she deserves more snuggles that I can give her. They have been together most of their lives so their home needs to be together. Due to financial hardship I'm having to downsize numbers on horses. Leads, floats, ties up, usually easy to catch without food, but in the herd is bottom of pecking order so can be hard to catch if ahe isn't padlocked alone, other horses walk up and push her away. Absolutely great with my daughter, no kicking/biting, happy to be brushed and walked around and does so safetly. We have had her for 2 years, feet and teeth up to date. Patience is his middle name! 19yr old, 10.2 hh Shetland gelding. He is the perfect beginner lead line for children starting out and can be ridden off lead for confident children. He is slow paced and does have a few Shetland habits like not wanting to move very forward when ridden off lead. He will stand all day and be patted and groomed.
