Swedish glass makers Kosta Boda had Bertil Vallien design the distinctive Oktav range in the 1970s and this glass carafe or decanter is part of the collection. No cracks or chips. 145mm H x125mm W across the base x 40mm W across the mouth. It's in very good vintage used condition in original box with only one owner - me - since the 70s. It has his original paper sticker on the base ‘Bertil Vallien’. Made mid Century. It measures 27cm in Diameter x 13.5cm Tall. In excellent condition with no chips or cracks. A rare item.

A Swedish Kosta Boda Artscape Glass Bowl by Artist Bertil Vallien. 1992 It is called “Underworld Hellscape Ravens Brooding”. It shows an amazing technique of cutting away a final layer of glass to reveal the design. It is definitely a Wonderful Brooding, Menacing atmospheric design 21cm Diameter X 11cm Tall.

Kosta Boda Swedish Glass Days of the week series by Bertil Vallien. This one is ‘Monday’. It shows a Smiling Face with a Winking Eye within a rectangular shape. It measures 10.5cm Square. The top is 2cm Deep & the base is1.5cm Tall. It is quite heavy & in new condition.

KOSTA BODA Art Glass Bowl by Kjell ENGMAN (b. 1946) Series: Artist collection, No. 59061. Hand made. Signed on base. H.: 9.4 cm; D.: 14.6 cm Very good condition. No chips or cracks. There are a few scratches to the base. Very subtle colours, which is rare in this artist's oeuvre, of blue, lavender and orange. Kjell ENGMAN has been making art glass with Kosta Boda since 1978. He comes from a musical family and his work is deeply influenced by music. He aims to create joy in each piece he makes.
