Brought over on "The Fairsea" from Germany in October 1949, this toy electric iron has been kept in its original box. The inscription on the iron says "UNIVERSAL 110V-220V". 11 cm long and 9.5 cm tall. Teal coloured iron and wooden handle. Not bad condition considering its age, but I wouldn't venture to switch it on .

These beautiful German Waechterbach plates are a creamy honey colour, decorated with fine circles and an orange edge trim. The photo does not do justice to the true colour. They measure 18 cm in diameter. They have the manufacturer's imprint on the bottom and are numbered "Dek 4110 - 12". Both in immaculate condition. $30 for the two.

This piece of T.G.Green vintage crockery is a Church Gresley Potteries light blue china cup, Made in England and inscribed "Polo". It measures 9.5 cm in diameter across the top and is 7.5 cm high.

These two vintage Wembley Ware items, Made in England, are still in excellent condition. On the bottom, topped by a crown, is the inscription "WEMBLEY QUALITY WARE". They are an attractive yellow

This Burlington Ware side plate is marked "C", Made in England. It is cream coloured, decorated with English flowers and has a fine green rim. A matching teacup has a fine crack, so it is free. The plate measures 17.5 cm in diameter.

This is a side plate by Staffs Teaset Co. Ltd.. It is decorated with roses trimmed in gild around the edge. Inscription underneath: A Frank Buckley Production "B". Measures 17.5 cm in diameter. Nice condition except for slight sign of wear on the outer gold trim. The teacup is cracked, so included in the price.

This is not dated, but has a gift inscription dated Xmas 1922. There are 232 pages packed with interesting stories and articles on different topics. There are 4 colour plates and lots of black and white illustrations. The book is in poor condition, but that does not detract from its charm as a reminder of Australian life in a bygone era.
