Dating to 1830, this is a Napoleon lll Boulle mantle clock. A fine example of French Charles X 19th Century boulle portico clock comprising of ebonised wood and ormolu. The central drum case is held above by 4 columns of ebonised wood and ormolu accents. It has a twin train mechanical movement striking the hours and half on a very sweet bell. Clocks like this one don’t come along very often so now is your chance to own one. I’ve had the clock working all day and it works perfectly.

Time works well but alarm is a little erratic. I really think this is another Japy Freres because the movement is identical to the other one I’ve just listed. Trouble is the markings have worn off the back plate. Same hand painted tin plate.

Art Deco 1930s German Mantle 8 Day Clock with Key. This is a unique deco era clock with a German Haller 12cm movement. Look at that box-like shape with the curved top and detail on the grain. The face has the word ‘foreign’ stamped at 6 o’clock of which was common for imported German clocks to the UK. Lovely chime to it. This is a genuine Smiths mid century electric mantle clock. It is an attractive piece and in really good condition for its age and the hands are very decorative. There are similar and comparable but not exact styles on eBay in the $250 /$300 range. It is not working at the moment but I expect it’s an easy fix for a clock collector. Made in England.

No maker on this one but they’re generally French. This clock to me looks older than the ones I’ve been listing today. Lovely wood inlay around the edge of the clock with none missing. Working well with a lever escapement movement. Stands on 4 brass bun feet. Very unusual shape. It does have a small chip out of the top but you can’t see it when it’s on display. Measurements are 20cm tall, 19cm wide and9cm depth. I will post at buyers expense.

I as told by my clockmaker this clock is a lovely example of a Hardy Bros clock. It has lovely blue steel hands and it stands on 4 bun feet. The measurements are 24cm long, 16cm tall and 10cm deep. It has very ornate woodwork at the top of the clock, and very nice inlaid wood at the sides. A little crazing on the sides as this is expected with age.
