An very ornate and finely designed French silver sugar sifter. One of the hallmarks on the back of the handle is a head which my Semour B. Wilder Book of Old Silver tells me is the 1st Standard Mark for Paris for 1838. The other hallmark set in a diamond shape shows a downwards facing crescent moon at the top followed underneath and in order vertically by a 5 point star, an A. then another 5 point star - this is the maker's mark - see photo. Mid century. Only had one owner since purchased in 1960 and hardly ever used, sitting in a crystal cabinet. Size is 19cm X 19cm with stem of 6cm. No scratches, but see photos for marks on bottom and a couple of damage marks on item, including one slight ding on one side. One mark would need to be sealed to stop fragments of paint flaking.

A vintage set of amber glass bon bon snack dishes and silver-plated brass stand with handle, circa 1930s. The glass dishes are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips. The brass stand is also in very good condition but the silver-plating is well worn. If pristine condition is required the stand can be re-silver-plated. Brand new bottle vintage good condition

Wooden, possibly from rubber tree, stained to look darker. Has drawer which pulls in and out fine, but wood either side of it has slightly bowed. The item is possibly south east Asian in origin from 1960s. One of the seating slats has bowed up but is solid, comfortable and safe to sit on. Dimensions are 104 cm wide, 79cm high, 49cm deep. The seat is 45cm from the ground and the top of table 56cm from the ground. Pick up only. Item is relatively light in weight and sturdy.

70s Parker armchairs in need of reupholstering and one needing arms re-padding. Frames sturdy. Pick up only.

Liquor bottle music box from 1950s. There is no liquor in it and music box works fine. The on/off button also works. Made of glass and white plastic. The label is not readable and is discolored on the back. The bottle is 43cm high, 12cm wide at the base, and 5cm wide at the top. I cannot determine the name of the tune it is playing, but it sounds like, or is similar to, the chorus of La vie en rose. There are no cracks in the plastic or glass.

A vintage three footed pottery bowl with a heavy orange drip glaze in centre, mixed with brown. Has a brown drip glaze around the rim. Not sure where or when this was made, possibly European 1930s, and has an Art Deco look to it. The bottom has an impressed crossed figure in centre with the number 38 above it and number 7 below. Beautiful Danish solid Brazilian Rosewood and leather swing back chair. Circa 1960’s. Wood is in fantastic condition, leather needs a little bit of TLC (cracks but no major tears or rips). Possibly antique, ornate mother-of-pearl handled 3 pronged silverplate bread serving fork made by Chris Johnson & Co at the Western Works, Portobello in Sheffield between about 1923 and 1927. It is about 192mm long and in very good condition. Postage is not included in price. Pickup in Canberra for cash.

Ornate pair of silverplate salad servers made between 1898 and 1912 by James Allen and Sidney Darwin at Portland Works in Sheffield. Those silversmiths had been working in London before their move to Portland Works in Sheffield. The Gothic "S" on the back of each handle signifies Sheffield. Both the "A&D" and the hourglass symbol were the marks of those silversmiths during that period. The spoon is 22cm long and the fork 21cm. Postage is not included in price.
