Auckland designer Steve Thompson’s aim was to design a boat for intermediate sailors which would introduce the thrill factor without too much of the fright factor - in other words, gennakers made easy. The boat Thompson designed would represent the next step up from a Laser, with three or four crew, although two crew could manage the boat as long as they had the necessary body weight. Fun Laser ready to sail with trolley and on trailer. 2 size rigs. 2 mains one for each rig. Small main in very good condition (hardly used). Rooftop tent in fantastic condition as per photos with annex for bottom (used once) . Very warm inside. Cover aged. One hole in fly (see photo). Trailer not currently registered. Self-bailer part including new washers (I will fit them for you before shipping). Work perfectly well. I thought I had broken mine, so I ordered a whole new part inclusing some spare washers, but it was not until I went to replace it on my boat, that I realised that only the washers were broken. So I spent nearly $90 on parts instead of a couple of dollars. I installed the new bailer on my boat and selling the older one. Relisting due to buyer no show!!! This ski is my pride and joy and a regretful sale, only selling because I have to many projects on the go. It rides amazing, no faults, doesn't take on any water and is super quick. Over $20000 in parts have gone into this build and that doesn't include the price of the ski or labour. The ski was mostly used for fishing and was always flushed with engine flush. Has 148hours ( 25hours on built motor ) and done only 5 hours in the last 10 months, just had a fres
