Minus a brief hiatus, original Minis were built for four decades and sold during five, from the last year of the 1950s into the last year of the 20th century, over a single generation, as fastbacks, estates, and convertibles. Regretful sale of our 1954 split-screen Morris Ute. It is a real head turner in excellent restored condition. Under the hood is a matching numbers engine with a Shorrocks Supercharger installed in 2022. This was apparently common for commercial users of the MM Ute to boost 4th gear performance when loaded. Won multiple awards for most original Morris Minor 1000 Sedan in Canberra. My grandfather loved his Morrises- making original parts and keeping her in her original state as much as he could.
