In 1952, the Australian Athletic Team was travelling to the Helsinki Olympic Games and had organised a warm-up meet in Belfast, Northern Island where I grew up. I was fortunate to attend this event and obtained some famous autographs, including Marjorie Jackson, Shirley Strickland, John Landy, John Treloar and several others. The team won 11 medals, including 6 gold. $100 which includes forwarding by Registered Post.

This is from our Grandfathers collection of booklets. This is in excellent condition with 33 pages and has no tears, damage or stains. It was printed in 1954 as a reprint from 1935 and has a great bunch of scientific information from the day, covering trains, cars and planes and other interesting material. All designed for children. This is our Grandfathers NRMA touring maps. It is in good condition especially as it would be probably from the 1940-50’s era. the Book has a couple of small tears on the back cover, with a small number of pages have dog ears but overall the book is in good condition. Mum was cleaning out her house and found this 1972 era SuperKings Fire Tender K9, still in the box. It has never been used or played with and the vehicle is in perfect, as new condition. The box is damaged, with the clear plastic broken in a few places having sat in a draw for 50 years. It has Denver on the side and the paint and windscreens are in perfect condition. This is mums collection from when we were kids and for her grandchildren. No longer needed as she has downsized. They are in varying condition, with some in excellent condition through to some are well used with tears, writing/pen/pencil on some pages and a couple of torn pages . Perfect condition vintage porcelains all three $500

This is our grandfathers map used in the 1950’s when they travelled to UK and Europe. It is in German (meaning the names are German not English). It uses a slide system to move each map in sections up to the next map area. Overall it has 15 sliders and essentially covered east Germany, Luxembourg and small areas of France. It is in good condition and all the maps work and the sliders. It is clearly “used” in that the plastic surrounds are dirty from being held with a couple of scuff marks.

This is from Aeronautical Gazette Illustrated – Special Souvenir Edition, a booklet/magazine from my families collection. It has 12 pages of full colour pictures and information about the movie, the cast and other details. The booklet is in very good condition Pick up Dural NSW or post is available.

I bought this in 1980’s when I lived in England. It is “as new” and has sat in the cupboard since then. It is in perfect condition and with no damage to the chart. I bought this new in the late 80’s and have kept it, thinking one day I would frame and put them up. Clearly this is never going to happen and I hope that someone is keen to hang some of these. The prints are all in very good to excellent condition with none being damaged. As they are very high quality prints in gloss, they do show up small marks when held in the correct light but as you see from the photos, these are impossible to see normally. I am clearing out my collection of various Fantasy Calendars which I have collected over the years. This is in good condition having been stored between cardboard and heavy objects for a long time. It was used as it was my favourite calendar and has the actual pictures from the original books and so is one of the best I have. It is not perfect but is very good condition.
