Bought to replace the old STD size pistons, upon further inspection of the bores in my motor I've since decided to go all out on a ground up rebuild which in turn requires oversize pistons so these are also surplus to my needs. These are late model, short sleeve pistons with the steel insert in the top ringland to hold all the boost in. Comes with Japanese rings. this motor was taken out of our old Bond-wood Boat and replaced with a Holden Grey Motor in the mid 1960's. the Grey Motor was taken out of a rusted out old FJ Holden car, Father got at the time. so when the SIMCA Motor was taken out of the Bond-wood Boat, it was in a going condition, nothing wrong with it, no smoke, FINE. the problem was with the SIMCA Motor, just under power thing it was, to gutless to pull a water skier along at a good watering skiing speed. in all this time this SIMCA MOTOR

this 252 V6-CHEV MOTOR was brought in from the STATES, and has been re-worked. all machining work was done in Golden Square, Bendigo, by RACE MOTORS at the time. so all has been done there, and the motor has been in storage for many years now, never put back together. the 252 V6 Chev Motor is a 225 V6-Chev Motor, BUT fitted with bigger pistons, PUT in IT, and also to add here, a 225 V6-Chev Motor is say a 307 V8-Chev Motor, WITH 2 CYLINDERS CHOPPED OFF IT, to bring it back to 225 cubic inch mot
