Nikkor (Nikon) 105mm f4 Macro
Probably the best macro lens I've ever used, if you're looking for this you know what it is. This is sharper than the 2.8 version with slightly more contrast also. It's obviously lighter and more compact also as a result of its smaller lens element design. It's almost perfect wide open but at its best stopped down to f5.6, performs just as well at up to f11 and still very well at f22, it will stop down to f32.
