Bowl back mandolin made by M&G Casella in Catania. This is instrument is in excellent condition. Plays very nicely. I have just fitted a new set of concert flat wound strings. Very ornate instrument with perspex arm rest. Has a very nice set of enclosed tuners. Comes in original case, which is in good condition for its age, and will continue to function well for many years. .

Excellent condition with fairly minimal use. There is a small issue with the mapping of the crossfader curve but there's an easy workaround (I just adjust the curve in the software).

Another Renovators Delight. This is a flatback mandolin made by G Puglisi Reale in Catania. Date on label is 1925. Quite significant splits on the front. The back is in good condition. The tuners are also in good working order. Case has seen better days but still works.

Missing half the metal hardware and one head. Parts for LP gear is not cheap, but available. To replace the missing items on this set is not realy an option. It is perfect for anyone stockpiling LP parts, or wanting spares. This lot is in perfect condition.

This will hold a 16" viola and possibly a 16.5" viola, but I don't have one here to try it. It is a brown crocodile hide type finish, which I think looks great. It is unused, but sitting here for some years.

This is a refurbished Suzuki classroom (Orff) style) style bass xylophone. It has new rubber under the bars, new pins as needed, and I have added my anti-pin-bending extension to one side to prevent bent pins when bars are removed incorrectly. Set of tone bars. In refurnishing these I have replaced various rubber parts, and again found that the resonator boxes for the lower notes were not tuned to the bars very well. The SG200 was one of a few new designs released in the early 70's. I have had difficulty finding the exact manufacture date of this guitar, but Les Pauls with the same 6 digit stamped serial number are from 1970 to 1972, so I think it's safe to say this one was also made at that time. This classroom marimba is a 3 octave instrument. This model has the fiberglass bars. It is well constructed, assembles and disassembles easily and comes on good quality castors, so is easy to move around. The fiberglass bars are an ideal option to timber bars. Though not giving the traditional timber bar sound, they are brighter in tone, and are very stable in tuning, as they are not affected by temperature and humidity changes like timber is. Thomastik 174st sets. These are for the Octave Mandola, tuned one octave below the standard mandolin. These are not for use on the Alto mandola, which is tuned like a viola, and is shorter in scale to the octave mandola. Just two sets of the heavy left.
