It has 207 pages, colour reproductions, biographies of the artists, a bibliography and evidence and documents notes including museums where housed. Very informative and comprehensive. In excellent condition (except for some scuffing on the bottom left front cover (which could be disguised by matching burgundy texta).

This is a wonderful book about beautiful old Yorkshire. After reading this and seeing the photos you'll want to go there to see it for yourself. It's James Herriot's country and he describes it in a very readable way with an obvious love of the history and landscape. There's also a chapter on Captain Cook's connection to this land. It also abounds with beautiful colour photos of American scenery. There is a gorgeous pavlova in the California section (thought the pav was an Aussie invention!). Anyhow, this book would thrill any mother on Mothers Day. 319 pages of sheer perfection.

1931 AUSTRALIA and NEW ZEALAND
This 1931 London publication by L.S.Suggate, entitled "Australia and New Zealand with Pacific Islands and Antarctica - with many illustrations, maps and diagrams", has 439 pages, including an excellent index. Makes a fascinating read, enabling an interesting comparison with the situation today. The cover is a bit tired looking, but the content is in very good condition. Some random pages pictured here.

Herbert Tichy, "Menschenwege-Goetterberge: Bilder meiner Reisen", Vienna, Wollzeilen Verlag, 1960. 106 p. Priceless account of Tichy's travels through Asia, Alaska and Kenya. Illustrated with 90 photographs, 19 in colour and 3 maps. Text is in German, but even for the non-German reader, the photos speak for themselves. It'a a valuable record of a world which is fast disappearing due to modernisation.
