Yamaha 15 hp 4 stroke outboard it is missing the carburettor it turns over by hand with out the spark plugs,I bought it on an online auction in Queensland. The description was 15 hp Yamaha 4 stroke outboard it was sitting on a pallet. I couldn’t tell if it was a long shaft or short shaft, I so I just bought the outboard, paid $350 for it plus freight it is no good to me being short shaft so I am selling it for what I paid and lose the freight charge. This is a Yamaha 8CMH 8HP 2 Stroke Long Shaft Outboard Motor that has had very little use. Under the cover it actually looks as new. It comes with its safety lead, fuel tank, fuel lead, rabbit ears, manuals & motor stand. This was an auxiliary motor for a yacht that was lying down for a time and as such has some surface corrosion on the lever and near the propellor as can be seen in the photos.
