Antique, collectable 1852 WD Royal Navy explosives transporting case.
This original & collectable Royal Navy explosive transportation case from the War Department 1852 still has the remnants of the canvas lining and all the original copper nails. This was to prevent sparks that would be disastrous for the sensitive freight…. I repurposed it attaching castor wheels as a coffee table/ storage trunk but no longer have the space for it.
