A rare grouping - an antique late 1800s E. Cherry Improved Patent size 0 butter churn, an accompanying exquisite rabbit butter stamp plus a pair of butter pats or paddles. Edward Cherry (1830 - 1910) arrived in Australia from England in 1855 and began manufacturing butter churns in 1858. In 1875 he opened a factory in Gisborne, Victoria which traded as E. Part of a collection of documents from my mother who grew up as a teenager in rural NSW. Each issue is in good condition given they are 90 years old with no water damage or significant tears.
