Depicts the said junction when there was a church on that corner and, according to the artist, an emu on the church lawn. If you work in an office in that location, you must frame this and hang it in your foyer. It has been kept rolled up in its original holder, so although you can't say it is new, it is actually in as new

It's a small musical table with an attractive inlaid wood top. Underneath is a wind-up key. You wind it up, then when you lift the table top, it plays "On the Isle of Capri". There is space inside for a few nick-nacks. Height 43 cm, triangular edges all 43 cm. each. Slight chipping happened when it was knocked over recently.

"NEUME 1953" is the annual yearbook of the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, Massachusetts. Embossed hard cover features the shool emblem and a statue of Beethoven. 100 pages, b/w photos throughout. In excellent condition. Even if that is not your old school, the photos are interesting in themselves as reminiscent of the formality and fashion norms of the time.

The Illustrated Story of Art Through the Ages weekly magazine No. 4 (Feb. 1964): This issue features ancient art of the Minoan civilisation from Crete to Mycenae and more. All 65 pages contain beautiful colour photos of the art works with detailed descriptions and histories. Interesting and useful, especially for art and art history students.

"The Argus Students' Practical Notebook', published 1948 in Melbourne, is a paperback of 192 pages with illustrations. It consists of articles from "The Argus" and was meant to provide discussion material for teachers and pupils on nature, science, Australian exploration, civics and so on. Some random pages pictured here. The cover is not the cleanest looking .

Random pages pictured here to give you an idea of the content. In excellent condition. Apart from the historical content, a beautiful volume to grace your shelves.

This is not dated, but has a gift inscription dated Xmas 1922. There are 232 pages packed with interesting stories and articles on different topics. There are 4 colour plates and lots of black and white illustrations. The book is in poor condition, but that does not detract from its charm as a reminder of Australian life in a bygone era.
