This is an old concert bass drum. The label reads "Raytone British Made". 700mm diameter, and 370 mm deep. One side has a Remo head, the other has what may be the original velum head. This had a hole in it that I have patched up. The shell has numerous scratches but is in perfect condition. No cracks or breaks. All tuning lugs work perfectly. The synthetic Remo head head has a brighter sound, whereas as the velum head has a softer sound, though I have not tensioned it as high as the synthetic s

Missing half the metal hardware and one head. Parts for LP gear is not cheap, but available. To replace the missing items on this set is not realy an option. It is perfect for anyone stockpiling LP parts, or wanting spares. This lot is in perfect condition.

This is a refurbished Suzuki classroom (Orff) style) style bass xylophone. It has new rubber under the bars, new pins as needed, and I have added my anti-pin-bending extension to one side to prevent bent pins when bars are removed incorrectly. Set of tone bars. In refurnishing these I have replaced various rubber parts, and again found that the resonator boxes for the lower notes were not tuned to the bars very well. I have rectified this as much as possible. This set now works better, in the lower bars, than they did when new. In excellent playing condition. Comes in a case as shown. This classroom marimba is a 3 octave instrument. This model has the fiberglass bars. It is well constructed, assembles and disassembles easily and comes on good quality castors, so is easy to move around. The fiberglass bars are an ideal option to timber bars. Though not giving the traditional timber bar sound, they are brighter in tone, and are very stable in tuning, as they are not affected by temperature and humidity changes like timber is. Just the one available. Normally retails at $1900.

This is a chromatic extension that I have reworked as a diatonic bass xylophone. As such it only goes up to G, as opposed to the standard range which has one more note, to A. I have made the bars, and the box and rubbers are brand new, so it is a new instrument. Comes with F#'s and Bb.
