Turkish hall/stair runner rug (3550 x 490)
The rug is made of wool on cotton, warps and wefts are cotton and the (pile) knots are wool. This is a handwoven OLD Turkish rug, turned into PATCHWORK RUNNER RUG. A patch work rug is made from a larger rug which has had the middle worn out. The middle is cut out and the edges are then sewn together to form a runner rug.
