This is a rare 14.5 inch chop plate/charger was made at the Wilton RWP (Red Wing Pottery) Armetale foundry at Mt Joy in Pennsylvania (Amish area) around 1979/80. The rim pattern on the plate is called "Fleurs Nouveau" and was designed by Georges Briard, an American designer famous in the 1950-1970s for his signature dishware and glassware.
